Sample Letter Inviting Member of Congress to Visit Your Research Facility

This sample letter is addressed to the district or state office. However, some MOCs have their Washington, DC, schedulers make both DC and district/state office appointments. Contact the district/state office to inquire where to send an invitation for a local event. State and district office addresses and phone numbers are available on Congress.org.

Follow appropriate VAMC procedures and obtain any necessary approvals before inviting a member of Congress to visit your facility.
