FOVA Submits Comments to OMB Opposing Uniform Guidance Provisions That Threaten VA Research

On July 9, FOVA's Executive Committee submitted formal comments to OMB on its proposed revisions to the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), warning that provisions allowing political review of merit-based awards, no-cause termination of active research, and restrictions on international collaboration and scientific dissemination would destabilize VA research and urging OMB to revise them before finalizing the rule.
